Privacy policy
This policy explains the data used by Cedar Site Ledger's private website operations workflow.
Data the application uses
When an operator authorizes the application, it receives OAuth credentials and tokens, an account identifier used for the connection, and data available for the authorized website properties. This may include property URLs, ownership verification records, sitemap information, and search performance metrics such as queries, pages, clicks, impressions, countries, and devices.
Why access is requested
- Search Console access (webmasters): read performance data and manage authorized properties and sitemaps.
- Site Verification access (siteverification): obtain verification tokens and manage ownership verification records for authorized websites and domains.
The application requests these permissions for the operational workflow described above. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive documents, contacts, or payment information.
Storage and access
OAuth credentials and collected reporting data are stored in the operator's private infrastructure. Persistent OAuth secrets in the account pool are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to authorized operators and the systems that perform the workflow. Google passwords are not collected by the application.
Sharing and permitted use
Google data is used to provide website operations and reporting. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models. Data is processed by Google APIs and the hosting infrastructure necessary to operate the service. Cedar Site Ledger's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention, revocation, and deletion
Connection credentials are kept while the connection is needed. Reporting records are retained for the operator's reporting needs until deleted. Revoke access through Google Account connections to stop future authorized API access. Revocation does not automatically erase previously collected data. To request removal of stored credentials or reports, contact the administrator who provided your access to the private workflow.
This public website
These informational pages contain no application login form, advertising scripts, or analytics trackers. Cloudflare serves the pages and may process network and request information to deliver and protect the website under its own privacy policy.
